The problem
- A premium brand selling high-ticket home-improvement projects in the USA and Canada needed more projects, not just more form fills.
- Attribution in GA4 was unreliable: 150+ actions were blended into one metric, so it was hard to see which conversions mattered.
What I did
- Rebuilt the brand's attribution in GA4 so real lead and project events were separated from the 150+ blended actions.
- Built a four-stage funnel on Meta, from first ad to booked project.
- Tested video and price-led ads, with creative briefs and a weekly testing plan.
- Connected the account to HubSpot so ad results could be compared with real leads.
- Google Ads ran alongside, with about $243K of spend run by the team.
The result
- 3,054 projects generated in 2026, up 48% on 2025.
- The team's Meta spend on the account was about $570K.
What I would improve
- Connect the funnel to CRM outcomes even earlier, so tests are judged on closed projects and not only on generated projects.
- Report Meta and Google side by side on the same CRM lead definition from day one.
